My team develops the print strategy for 23 newspapers in ten markets. Still a work in progress, we’re re-engineering production to make the papers more sustainable and to create a better experience for our audience.
The work is collaborative between three regional Print Labs, embedded editors in each newsroom and a small team of art directors cross the country.

In 2011, I was hired by Gannett to create their Asbury Park Design Studio. We launched a new paper into the studio every 45 days until we had all 15 of Gannett's northeastern papers onboard. Our biggest achievement was a strong coaching strategy. and many of our young designers went on to the Washington Post, Boston Globe and New York Times. Here is some of the team’s work.
Staff work produced between 2005 and 2010 at the Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I was creative director and deputy managing editor. The team produced visual for digital, print and TV.
