About Tim

Tim Frank is an artist and photographer who, lured by the collaborative possibilities and large canvas of newspapers, fell in love with journalism a while back.

Starting in small papers, Tim also led creative teams at the Arizona Republic and the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Tim helped Gannett establish its Design Studios, leading the team in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Now, as Senior Director for of the PubOps team at Advance Local Media, Tim develops strategies and leads a cloud-based team that produces digital and print editions for 34 publications.
